Buckland is looking for a Business Solutions Specialist, US Trade What you’ll be doing The Business Solutions Specialist, US Trade is responsible for advocating for change across the entire organization by identifying opportunities for improvement at the corporate level, with a special focus on US Brokerage, Compliance & Logistics. The Business Solutions Specialist acts as a liaison between operational departments and technical teams to design, implement, and support tailored strategies, software, or process improvements that enhance efficiency and achieve corporate goals. Drive innovation by guiding the team in developing strategic solutions that respond effectively to evolving trade conditions and regulatory landscapes. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs or challenges, define project requirements, and develop methods to improve the effectiveness of business systems. Ensure clear communication and alignment between stakeholders, development teams, and project teams to effectively manage expectations, risks, and dependencies. Develop, test, and implement specialized products, software, or process improvements to improve efficiency across the organization. Guide users & teams through business transformation What we need from you Diploma/Degree in Business Systems, Information Technology, Business Analysis, Project Management, or similar discipline. Minimum 5 years U.S. customs brokerage, ABI software, CATAIR, consulting or similar professional services required. Strong knowledge of US Customs Section 232 and 301 tariffs and exclusions and PGA requirements. US Customs Broker’s License preferred. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities and make informed decisions in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders. Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate in both technical and user‑friendly language. Familiarity with Agile tools and technologies, such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms an asset. Must be legally eligible to work for the Company at all times. Want to apply?
