Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ psychological and social needs via interviews and direct observation, enabling the development of individualized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based treatment modalities to address mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, addiction behaviors, and coping strategies for chronic pain, ensuring the integration of psychosocial treatments.

• Engage in regular consultations with interdisciplinary team members to foster an environment of compassionate care, emphasizing the psychological aspects of physical health treatments.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies, ensuring all records reflect the highest standards of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be individuals in various stages of detoxification and recovery from substance use disorders. Many clients may also be facing additional mental health challenges, including co-occurring disorders, making your expertise essential in crafting comprehensive care strategies. You will work to empower these individuals to confront their challenges and rebuild their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) with an active clinical license (LCSW) issued by the State of California.

• A minimum of two years of professional experience in a mental health care setting, ideally with exposure to detox or addiction treatment environments.

• Strong understanding and application of therapeutic techniques tailored to the treatment of psychiatric disabilities and dual diagnoses.

• Proficiency with telehealth and electronic health record (EHR) systems to facilitate patient management and documentation.

Compensation and Benefits\n
