This contract position spans from early November to the end of December 2026 and focuses on supporting elementary-aged students during a maternity leave. The assignment is based near Oxford, MI, working primarily within two elementary schools and offers a full 37.5 hour work week.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Social Worker license applicable to school settings
• Experience in school-based or youth-focused environments
• Strong communication, counseling, and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to manage diverse caseloads and collaborate effectively with educational professionals
• Prior experience with elementary-aged children preferred

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct social-emotional support, counseling sessions, and interventions for assigned elementary caseload
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop strategies that support student growth and well-being
• Advocate for students’ needs and assist in developing individualized plans
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in line with school policy and ethical standards
• Contribute to crisis intervention efforts and participate in multi-disciplinary meetings as needed
