Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your main responsibilities will include:

• Providing individual and couples therapy sessions, as well as family therapy, to address a range of emotional and behavioral issues.

• Developing personalized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each patient.
\n
• Offering specialized therapy for various challenges such as alcohol abuse, interpersonal conflicts, grief and loss, and adjustment disorders related to family dynamics.

• Conducting assessments and evaluations to identify underlying issues affecting family function and individual well-being.
\n
• Facilitating workshops and support groups when necessary to enhance community engagement and patient support.
\n
• Maintaining comprehensive and accurate patient records in compliance with local regulations and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LMFT will engage with a diverse patient population, including children, adolescents, and adults, helping families navigate complex issues such as blended family dynamics, separation and divorce, communication difficulties, and more. Your work will be vital in promoting mental health awareness and providing therapeutic interventions that cater to the unique circumstances of each client.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Illinois.
