Description:
The Accounting Clerk performs general accounting, student accounts, and administrative functions for the Business Office. The position is responsible for maintaining accurate student account activity, including charges, financial aid, scholarships, payments, and other transactions; providing customer service to students; processing College receipts; and assisting with routine accounting functions.
As the employee develops in the position, responsibilities will include bank and sub-ledger reconciliations, employee credit card information, and other accounting support functions. The position also serves as a designated backup for limited payroll processing functions as assigned and trained.
