Must-Have: Certified MLS through ASCP or equivalent, At least 2 years working in a hospital laboratory environment as an MLT or MLS

Description: Position involves performing point of care testing. Responsibilities include conducting daily maintenance, quality control, and calibrations on analyzers. Patient testing includes both waived and non-waived tests. Specimen processing involves ordering tests, centrifuging specimens, and preparing send outs for transport as needed. The role also encompasses stocking lab supplies and routine cleaning of lab surfaces. Candidates should be able to work and communicate professionally with both laboratory and clinical staff. This position may involve working independently while interfacing with clinical staff as necessary. There are opportunities to gain additional hours during a 7 on/off week if desired. Adherence to standard lab safety protocol is required.
