Corporate Accounting Manager

Corporate Accounting ManagerCorporate Accounting Manager is a hybrid role that reports to the Corporate Controller. You'll be responsible for managing corporate accounting processes, including stock compensation and equity plan administration, subsidiary accounting, and assisting with quarterly close and SOX compliance procedures for a large public filer. The ideal candidate is diligent, detail-oriented, and a team player with progressive accounting experience.Position SummaryManage month-end accounting processes for stock compensation & equity, deferred compensation, equity investments, and corporate-level accruals, including reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations and providing explanations for monthly and quarterly account activity.Administer compensation plans, including managing annual stock grant processes, the employee stock purchase plan (ESPP), and the deferred compensation plan, including grants, reconciliations, and communications to employees.Lead quarterly and annual technical accounting analyses covering key assumptions, including goodwill, intangible assets, and going concern assessments.Lead day-to-day integration activities and ongoing accounting for the HCSG's investing, M&A activities, and externally managed subsidiaries, including documenting processes and internal controls for the investees.Lead quarterly and annual SOX compliance processes, including initiating regular internal controls assessments, documenting process narrative updates, and reviewing external service provider controls.Assist in preparations of SEC filings, including Section 16 filings and annual and quarterly financial statements.Operate internal controls as assigned, including key monthly and quarterly controls for ongoing SEC filings, and coordinate with internal and external auditors as needed.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting is required5+ years of experience in public accounting or within a SEC or financial reporting departmentCPA license highly preferredMust be proficient in Microsoft Excel and WordEEO StatementIf you're looking for a role where you can lead with passion, drive positive change, and be part of a supportive and dedicated team, apply now and start making a difference at HCSG!
