Project Accountant
Nashville, TN As a Project Accountant, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related directly to bookkeeping for multiple projects on the accounting team. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of accounting within either construction or manufacturing industries. Responsibilities Include:- Project cost reporting and analysis
- Gather documentation such as risk mitigation compliance, bonds, insurance certificates, etc.
- Ensures weekly AP review, AIA billing
- Manage bank deposits
- Set up new customers and manage job contracts
- Reconcile expense reports
- Cost coding invoices
- Works closely with financial institution partners and vendors
- Takes ownership of projects to ensure high quality results
- Construction accounting experience-required
- Minimum of 2+ years of recent construction/manufacturing accounting experience
- Experience in either Intacct, Procore, Foundation, Spectrum, Viewpoint, Textura, etc. is highly sought after
- Excel- Intermediate
