Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to determine the specific needs and challenges faced by clients, subsequently crafting individualized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individuals, couples, and families, utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused techniques.

• Lead psychoeducational workshops and support groups to foster community, offer shared experiences, and provide education on mental health topics.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to holistic patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention services, supporting clients during urgent mental health emergencies.

• Educate clients about their mental health conditions, treatment options, and relevant community resources, empowering them in their recovery process.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards, ensuring accurate documentation of all client interactions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Summit Mind, you will work with a diverse array of patients experiencing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse disorders. Our clients come from all walks of life, requiring individualized and culturally sensitive approaches to therapy. Your role will be pivotal in fostering a therapeutic relationship and guiding clients towards improved mental health and well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or an equivalent field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California is required for this position.

Compensation and Benefits\n
