Operations Support Specialist

We sell, offer design consultation, and provide installation services from Certified Surfacequest Installers throughout North America. Position Overview The Operations Support Specialist will assist with all day-to-day operational tasks, project coordination, as well as work closely with field staff. This team member will be instrumental in Surfacequest’s rapid and sustainable growth throughout North America. Primary Job Tasks and Responsibilities Support our field staff and subcontractors. Work closely with the Director of Operations on project schedules. Coordinate travel arrangements for field staff. Review and track timecards and credit card expenses. Help to ensure that projects remain on time and on budget. Increase the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance the company’s capacity. Assist in resolving customer issues by investigating problems, developing solutions, collaborating with all necessary team members to execute the work, while making recommendations for managing future issues. Work closely with all office team members. Provides historical records with daily entries into the company CRM and shared folders (OneDrive, SharePoint, etc.). Experience and Expertise Required Ability to collaborate with all company team members, be approachable, and coachable. Excellent ability to manage multiple, national projects and schedules even when information is changing rapidly. Ability to seamlessly shift communication approach to the client’s need. Preferred, but not required, is the ability to read and decipher construction plans. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint, Excel). Demonstrated writing, editing, and proofing capabilities. A personal smart cell phone utilized for company use; established monthly reimbursement provided.
