Account Executive II – ReadyAPI ReadyAPI is SmartBear's industry‑leading API testing platform that enables software teams to build, test, secure, and monitor APIs faster and with greater confidence. It supports REST, SOAP, GraphQL, and other modern technologies, helping organizations automate functional, performance, and security testing across the development lifecycle. About the Role Drive net new business growth and expansion opportunities for ReadyAPI. Partner with development, QA and DevOps teams to modernize API testing and accelerate software delivery. Develop new business relationships through inbound leads, outbound prospecting, and strategic account outreach. Drive expansion opportunities within existing accounts by increasing adoption of ReadyAPI across engineering, QA, and DevOps organizations. Consult with customers on API testing strategies, automation initiatives, and digital transformation efforts to position SmartBear solutions effectively. Manage a mix of transactional and enterprise sales opportunities within a defined territory. Build trusted relationships with technical stakeholders, managers, and executive decision makers. Collaborate cross‑functionally with Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Marketing, and Product teams to drive customer success and revenue growth. Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting within Salesforce and related sales tools. Receive ongoing enablement, coaching, and professional development to accelerate career growth and long‑term sales success. Qualifications 1–3 years of software sales experience, preferably in technical organizations or developer‑focused environments. Experience carrying a quota and consistently achieving KPIs or revenue targets. Strong communication, discovery, and presentation skills with the ability to engage both technical and business audiences. A self‑starter mindset with strong accountability and time‑management skills. Interest in API technologies, software testing, DevOps, or developer tooling. Experience using sales tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Salesforce, Outreach, or similar platforms. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience. Compensation: Estimated annual cash compensation (base + on‑target commission) ranges from $120,000 to $120,000 USD.
