Job Summary Under the direction of the department manager, the Hospital Unit Supervisor is responsible for immediate supervision of Unit Service Coordinators, other administrative, para‑technical, and volunteer staff, overseeing day‑to‑day operations and providing general administrative support. It is the primary unit for Acute Care Surgery, Trauma, and Surgical Critical Care teams and also supports Vascular, Transplant (Liver & Kidney), Surgical Oncology, Orthopedics, GI Surgery, OB/GYN, a backup for the BURN unit, Neurosurgical ICUs, and combined Medical‑Surgical ICUs.
