We're looking for a skilled Folder Gluer Operator to play a key role in our production process—ensuring precision, efficiency, and top-tier product quality.Position SummaryThe Folder Gluer Operator is responsible for setting up and operating folder gluer machines to produce finished cartons that meet customer specifications and company quality standards. This role partners closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to drive efficiency, minimize downtime, and maintain accurate production records.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate folder gluer machines according to job specificationsMonitor machine performance and make real-time adjustments for optimal outputInspect finished products to ensure compliance with quality standardsPerform routine maintenance and assist with minor equipment repairsTroubleshoot mechanical and operational issues during productionRead and interpret job tickets, blueprints, and production schedulesAccurately complete production records and documentationFollow all safety procedures and company policiesCollaborate with team members, supervisors, and quality personnelMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentQualificationsExperience operating folder gluers or similar packaging/manufacturing equipment preferredStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsAbility to read and interpret technical documents and specificationsHigh attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workBasic math and measurement skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentEducationHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredTechnical training in printing, packaging, or related field preferredPhysical RequirementsFrequent standing and walking throughout the shiftRegular use of hands for handling, operating, and adjusting equipmentAbility to lift up to 50 lbsStrong visual acuity (including close vision and color differentiation)Ability to communicate effectively in a production environmentReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.Additional InformationOvertime or adjusted hours may be required based on customer demand and production schedulesWhy Join QPI?Stable, growing manufacturing environmentTeam-oriented culture with strong leadership supportOpportunity to develop technical skills and advance your career
