Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth mental health assessments for students, including psychosocial evaluations and risk assessments tailored to their unique educational and social contexts.

• Utilize various evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), across individual, family, and group therapy sessions.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and safety planning for students experiencing acute distress, coordinating with school staff for a seamless response.

• Document and maintain clear clinical records, adhering to state regulations and clinic policies regarding patient confidentiality and record-keeping.

• Empower students and their families through psychoeducation, enhancing their understanding of mental health challenges and strategies for effective management and resilience.

• Work closely with a diverse multidisciplinary team, including school psychologists, nurses, and community resources, to ensure comprehensive care and support for students.

• Continuously evaluate treatment effectiveness through outcome assessments, making adjustments to care plans as necessary to improve patient outcomes.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and trends in mental health, integrating new findings into practice to enhance therapeutic techniques and approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with school-aged children and adolescents who may be dealing with a range of emotional and psychological challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Compensation and Benefits\n
