Security Clearance:

• Applicant must hold or be able to obtain an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Operations analyst you will help determine better ways to coordinate and manage large organizations that require the effective use of money, materials, equipment, and people. This is accomplished by:

• Analyzing processes and recommending and implementing procedural or policy changes to improve operations and decrease time and cost spent on efforts.
• Identifying project needs such as resources, staff, or finances by reviewing project objectives and schedules.
• Interpreting and analyzing policies, rules, regulations, or laws to organizations, government officials, and employees.
• Conferring with program personnel to discuss issues, coordinate activities, resolve problems, set strategy, and accomplish objectives.
• Reporting project status, such as budget, resources, technical issues, and compliance to programs.
• Proposing, reviewing, or approving modifications to project plans and processes.
• Planning, scheduling, or coordinating project activities to meet program schedules.
• Applying analytical methods from mathematics, science, and engineering.

Experience:

• With a bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or related field: minimum of 10 years professional experience related to supporting a US Navy program, OR Without a bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or related field: minimum 15 years professional experience related to labor category AND experience supporting a US Navy program.
• Experience with Navy programs with small combatants.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or related field OR preferred years of experience.
