Key Responsibilities\n

As an LMFT, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments of clients' mental health, relationship dynamics, and family interactions.

• Facilitating therapeutic sessions for couples and families, employing evidence-based methodologies tailored to meet diverse needs.

• Engaging in individual therapy sessions to address individual mental health issues while still considering familial impact.

• Developing and implementing effective treatment plans to address specific issues such as grief and loss, conflicts among family members, blended families, and adjustment to life transitions.

• Integrating mental health care seamlessly with physical health initiatives to promote holistic well-being.

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

• Maintaining accurate documentation and client records in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clientele will encompass a wide range of individuals, couples, and families, including adults and adolescents facing various challenges. You will work with clients experiencing:

• Grief, loss, and bereavement

Qualifications\n

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• Active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) credential in New York State.
