• Assist in specimen collection and sample preparation for testing when necessary.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new staff or interns, and contribute to maintaining quality standards in the lab.
• Ensure a clean, safe workspace and comply with regulatory and accrediting requirements.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a related allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be secured within one year of hiring.
• Maintain active certification during the course of your employment.
