This regional medical center serves as a vital healthcare provider for the Northeast Texas community, offering comprehensive women's health services. The facility features a 6-bed department with Level 3 trauma capabilities and maintains high standards of patient care and safety.

Opportunity:
Physician (MD) - Obstetrics and Gynecology

Job Details:
Provide coverage once per month consisting of 3 days of 24-hour call shifts
Work schedule: Friday 7am through Monday 7am
Handle 0-4 patient encounters per shift in a 6-bed department
Manage low and high risk pregnancies with comprehensive delivery services
Perform routine deliveries including vaginal births and low forceps procedures
Handle complicated deliveries including c-sections, breech presentations, multiple births, and abruptions
Provide decision-making expertise for cesarean sections and VBAC procedures
Conduct surgical gynecology including open and laparoscopic procedures
Perform major operative procedures including ectopic pregnancy management, ovary removal, and cystectomy
Must be board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Required certifications include ABLS, ACLS, BLS, and PALS
Active Texas medical license required
Credentialing timeframe approximately 30 days
