Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to ascertain the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, enabling the development of effective treatment strategies.

• Administer evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to the nuances of each client's situation.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to empower them in their mental health journey.

• Continuously monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment plans based on feedback and evolving needs to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client sessions, assessments, and treatment plans, adhering to legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Must hold a current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in Massachusetts.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience specializing in mood disorders is preferred.

• Strong expertise in evidence-based treatment methodologies for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.

• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to effectively collaborate with psychiatrists in treatment planning and execution.

• Proficient communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building rapport with diverse clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
