Supply Chain Specialist

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to join their team. As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will be part of the Operations department supporting the Supply Chain team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Supply Chain Specialist Location: Plainville, MA Contract: 3 Months Pay Range: $26-28/HR What's the Job? Create, update, and expedite purchase orders to support production schedules. Follow up with suppliers on purchase order status and delivery dates. Resolve routine purchase order discrepancies, including pricing, quantities, and invoice issues. Monitor material availability and communicate potential shortages or delivery delays to the Supply Chain team. Support weekly material readiness meetings by providing status updates on open orders and critical materials. What's Needed? Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field preferred. 1–3 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, manufacturing, or inventory coordination. Experience using SAP or another ERP system REQUIRED. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. What's in it for me?
