Customer Service Representative

Location: O'Fallon, MO

Schedule: Full-Time, On-Site (5 Days per Week)

Shift: 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM CST (schedule may change based on business needs)

Training Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM CST

Overview

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join a fast-paced customer support team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, handling billing inquiries, resolving concerns, and delivering exceptional service through inbound and outbound communications. Key Responsibilities

• Provide timely and professional customer service in an automated call delivery environment.
• Respond to customer billing inquiries, correspondence, complaints, and requests with accuracy and professionalism.
• Take ownership of customer issues and drive them through to complete resolution.
• Coordinate with internal departments and business partners to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Research, analyze, and resolve customer concerns using multiple internal systems and applications.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of customer interactions.
• Work collaboratively within a team environment to achieve service and performance goals.
• Apply product and process knowledge to effectively assist customers.
• Support additional teams and complete administrative transactions as business needs require.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

QualificationsRequired

• Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience in a:
  • Call center environment (preferred), or
  • Retail customer service setting
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Accurate data entry and computer navigation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and basic Microsoft Excel functions.
• Ability to learn and navigate multiple computer systems simultaneously.

Preferred

• 1-2 years of call center experience.
• Sales or cross-selling experience.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Experience maintaining performance metrics and service standards.

Work Environment

• 100% on-site position in O'Fallon, MO.
• Candidates must be flexible to work between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM CST based on business needs.
• Overtime may be required, including occasional Saturdays.
• Not a remote opportunity.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of O'Fallon, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
