Production CoordinatorThe Production Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring production activities to ensure efficient operations, optimal resource utilization, and on-time delivery. This role acts as a key link between manufacturing, supply chain, and procurement teams to maintain production schedules, control inventory levels, and drive operational performance.Primary responsibilities include:Production Planning & Scheduling: Execute and maintain production schedules based on customer demands, forecasts, and inventory levels. Coordinate daily and weekly production plans with manufacturing teams. Adjust schedules as needed to address changes in demand, labor availability, or equipment issues.Inventory & Material Control: Monitor raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods inventory levels. Ensure availability of materials to support uninterrupted production. Collaborate with procurement and supply chain to manage shortages or excess stock.Performance Monitoring: Track production output, efficiency, and adherence to schedules. Analyze variances between planned and actual production. Generate reports and provide recommendations for process improvements.Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as a liaison between production, engineering, quality, and logistics teams. Communicate production priorities, resolve workflow bottlenecks, and manage customer material expedites. Support new product launches and process changes.Data Analysis & Reporting: Actively participate in the Global Shop Solutions (GSS) ERP implementation team, including data migration, system testing, user acceptance workflows, and post-go-live troubleshooting. Use data to identify trends and improve overall operational efficiency.Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize production processes and reduce waste. Participate in Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement initiatives. Support implementation of best practices in planning and scheduling.Requirements include:At least 2 years' experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering preferredBachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing or Supply Chain ManagementPrior experience navigating a major ERP Go-Live implementation highly preferredExperience with Global Shop Solutions (GSS) software is a plusBasic understanding of blueprints, part identification and inspection requirements preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organization and management skillsProficient use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and/or SharePointWhat we offer:Health Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
