EDI/ERA Enrollment Specialist I

We are seeking a dedicated EDI/ERA Enrollment Specialist to join our operational support team on-site in Louisville, KY. In this highly specialized, contract-to-hire role, you will take ownership of the enrollment lifecycle, managing Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) configurations and electronic claims setup.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete thorough, time-sensitive registration and electronic transaction enrollment workflows.

• Generate, monitor, and follow up on EDI agreements to ensure specific compliance and implementation deadlines are met.

• Audit, investigate, and resolve enrollment denials, transaction errors, and related payer correspondence.

• Manage user access, set permissions, and configure workgroups within clearinghouse platforms via internal ticketing systems.

• Maintain flawless, up-to-date documentation of all accounts and profiles throughout the onboarding process.

Requirements:

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent educational credential.

• Proven, direct experience handling EDI enrollment processes, electronic remittances, and medical claims systems.

• High technical proficiency navigating clearinghouse software (e.g., Availity, Waystar, etc.) ; specialized experience utilizing Waystar to set up, monitor, and configure workgroups is highly preferred.

• Advanced administrative and computer capability, particularly utilizing Microsoft Excel.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills alongside strong numerical aptitude and analytical troubleshooting abilities.

• Must clear standard pre-employment onboarding screening packages prior to starting the assignment.
