Project Manager

Project ManagerServe as the primary day-to-day point of contact for staffing activity, coordinating requests and replacement needs within required response windows. Oversee project delivery timelines, deliverables, and coordination across multiple department stakeholders. Support IT project planning, scheduling, and resource coordination for technical initiatives. Monitor project status, risks, and issues, escalating matters appropriately and ensuring timely resolution. Coordinate with recruiting, HR, and account management teams to support staffing and project needs. Conduct regular status updates and stakeholder communication to ensure objectives are met. Track and report on project progress, staffing levels, and deliverables to internal and client leadership. Attend onsite meetings and client visits as required to maintain strong working relationships.Proven experience managing IT projects, preferably within government or public-sector environments. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with client stakeholders. Experience coordinating across departments or with multiple stakeholders on IT initiatives. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and standard project management tools. Must be available for onsite visits and in-person meetings with the client as needed. Should be based near San Mateo County to support onsite availability. Does not need to reside within San Mateo County itself. Experience with California county or state government IT projects is desirable but not mandatory.Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience in IT project management will be considered in lieu of a degree. PMP or a similar project management certification is a plus but not mandatory.Work Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM PT, with flexibility for onsite client meetings and visits as needed.
