Position Overview

Innovative Therapeutic Services (ITS) is seeking a Licensed Clinical Supervisor (LCPC-S or LCSW-C) to provide on-site clinical leadership, supervision, and support to a team of behavioral health professionals serving youth in a juvenile detention center setting.

This is a full-time position averaging 40 hours per week. Work schedules are assigned based on the operational needs of ITS and the juvenile detention facility.

Candidates must have flexible availability, as this role may require:

• Daytime, evening, weekend, and occasional holiday coverage based on facility needs
• At least one evening shift per week (until 8:00 PM)
• Adjusted or rotating schedules based on staffing needs and client care requirements

Facility operating hours are:

• Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Saturday–Sunday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Assigned schedules may vary and are subject to change based on organizational and facility needs.

• Provide clinical supervision, case consultation, and leadership to licensed behavioral health professionals providing services in a juvenile detention setting
• Conduct individual and group clinical supervision sessions in accordance with Maryland Board requirements and agency standards
• Support clinicians through case reviews, treatment planning guidance, and clinical decision-making
• Review clinical documentation to ensure timely completion, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory, payer, and agency requirements
• Coordinate and maintain consistent supervision schedules with assigned behavioral health staff
• Provide guidance related to evidence-based practices, trauma-informed care, risk assessment, and clinical interventions
• Monitor adherence to agency policies, procedures, and clinical standards
• Complete psychosocial evaluations and clinical assessments as needed
• Provide clinical support and coverage as needed during staffing changes, clinician absences, or program needs
• Participate in clinical team meetings, supervisor meetings, and agency initiatives
• Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth among clinical staff

• Master’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or a related behavioral health field
• Active Maryland clinical license in good standing:
  • Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor – Supervisor (LCPC-S), or
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker – Clinical Supervisor (LCSW-C)
• Maryland Board-approved clinical supervisor status
• Minimum of 3 years of post-graduate clinical experience
• Strong knowledge of clinical documentation standards and behavioral health regulations
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to complete required federal and state background checks
• Reliable transportation required

• Previous clinical supervision experience
• Experience working with children, adolescents, or justice-involved youth

Our multidisciplinary team delivers evidence-based psychotherapy, psychiatric rehabilitation, medication management, and clinical support services rooted in trauma-informed, client-centered care.
