Key Responsibilities

Book and coordinate outbound freight shipments with carriers, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with company standards.

Schedule pickups, track shipments from pickup through delivery, and monitor status in our TMS — proactively flagging delays or issues to carriers and internal stakeholders.

Maintain strong relationships with carriers, brokers, and 3PL partners, using our TMS to monitor performance metrics (on-time pickup/delivery, issue resolution) and ensure service expectations are met.

Proactively identify and resolve shipping issues (delays, routing problems, missing items) flagged in our TMS, documenting discrepancies as needed.

Work closely with internal teams including logistics, sales, customer service, and fulfillment partners to ensure coordination across outbound shipping operations.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transportation activities including shipment tracking, freight documentation, and communication logs.

Interpret outbound shipment requests and independently execute logistics tasks with minimal oversight.

Execute inventory allocation directives by coordinating with FC teams and 3PL partners to move and position inventory accurately, on time, and in alignment with demand plans.
