Job Summary Acrisure is seeking a Senior Employee Relations Partner to join our team. This role serves as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert responsible for managing workplace investigations across the organization. This role partners closely with HR Business Partners, leaders, and other stakeholders to assess risk, conduct impartial investigations, provide guidance, and drive consistent application of company policies and employment practices. As a senior-level individual contributor, the Senior Employee Relations Partner demonstrates deep expertise in workplace investigations, employment law, conflict resolution, and organizational risk management. This role independently manages a broad range of investigations including allegations of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, workplace misconduct, policy violations, and other employment related concerns. The successful candidate is a strong investigator and consultant who can navigate ambiguity, influence leaders, and provide practical recommendations that support both employee experience and business objectives. Responsibilities Conduct thorough, objective, and legally defensible investigations related to employee complaints, grievances, and workplace concerns, including highly complex and sensitive matters. Independently manage a broad portfolio of investigations involving harassment, discrimination, retaliation, hostile work environment, workplace misconduct, ethics concerns, and other violations of company policies, regulations, and/or the Code of Conduct. Ensure consistent interpretation and application of Acrisure policies and practices in investigations and related matters. Serve as the lead investigator and primary point of contact for assigned investigations and coordinate/communicate with necessary stakeholders (including Legal where needed) throughout the investigation life cycle. Utilize advanced interviewing, evidence-gathering, documentation and fact-finding strategies & techniques to establish findings. Analyze complex information from multiple sources, identify patterns and trends, corroborate facts, assess credibility, and draw well-supported and defensible conclusions. Prepare clear, concise, and comprehensive investigative reports and executive summaries, including recommendations for corrective action, risk mitigation, and operational improvements. Advise concerned parties of report findings appropriately, and track completion of agreed upon corrective actions to ensure appropriate resolution and closure of each case. Liaise with relevant legal, HR, business, and other stakeholders to develop and convey all HR related concerns resulting from investigations & provide guidance in addressing employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws and regulations. Maintain complete, accurate, and confidential case documentation in accordance with company standards, data retention requirements, and applicable regulations. Effectively utilize case management systems and approved technology to manage investigation productivity, workflow, documents, and reporting. Provide expert guidance and support to HR Business Partners, managers, more junior Employee Relations Specialist(s), and others as needed. Maintain advanced knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, and emerging employee relations trends. Develop and facilitate effective employee relations training, educational material, and/or procedures. May provide other policy, compliance and regulatory functions as assigned. Requirements Demonstrated expertise conducting complex workplace investigations independently. Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws. Strong conflict resolution and mediation skills, with the ability to remain impartial and objective. Excellent written communication skills and experience preparation of investigation reports and executive summaries Exceptional problem-solving skills with proven interpretive, evaluative, and constructive thinking abilities, along with strong logical and deductive reasoning abilities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to present salient facts, guidance, & recommendations, and communicate effectively at all levels of the company. Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage high volume workload and competing multiple tasks simultaneously. Experience in developing and/or delivering effective training material and/or programs related to employee relations and compliance. Proven ability to think strategically and effectively work across a complex, matrixed organization. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and maintain strict confidentiality. Education And Experience 5-7+ years of relevant workplace investigations experience gained in either an HR Business Partner role, Employee Relations role, applicable HR leadership role, or other equivalent experience. Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Management, or equivalent practical experience required. PHR or SHRM–CP preferred. Multi-state experience preferred. Strong working knowledge with HRIS systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Workday experience is a plus. Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
