Work Environment\n

This position offers a fully remote work setting, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while engaging directly with clients via secure telehealth platforms. Regular work hours are scheduled from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, facilitating a structured routine that best supports our clients’ needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for elderly clients to identify their specific emotional and psychological needs. This may include standardized assessment tools and personalized evaluation methods to ensure accurate diagnosis.

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions tailored to the unique challenges associated with aging, including cognitive decline, loss of independence, and fear of the future.

• Develop and implement treatment plans that address clients’ specific mental health needs, setting measurable goals for progress that align with best practices in geriatric mental health.

• Educate caregivers, family members, and staff on effective strategies to promote emotional health in elderly clients, focusing on the importance of communication and emotional support.

Your primary focus will be on elderly individuals dealing with a variety of life challenges, including end-of-life issues, loss of loved ones, chronic health conditions, and significant life transitions. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

• Completion of a full-time clinical internship in a mental health setting is essential for this role.

• Must be license eligible by state regulations and possess a valid driver’s license in good standing.

Compensation and Benefits\n
