ALMCO Plumbing, Inc. | San Diego, CA | Full-Time

ALMCO Plumbing is looking for an experienced, driven B2B Business Developer to grow our commercial client base throughout San Diego County.

This is a relationship-building and business-development position. We are looking for someone who can identify new commercial opportunities, build relationships with decision-makers, develop referral partnerships, and turn those relationships into long-term accounts and recurring revenue.

Who You Will Build Relationships With

Our Business Developer will actively develop relationships with:

• Property management companies
• Apartment and multifamily communities
• HOAs and HOA management companies
• Hotels and hospitality groups
• Restaurants and commercial facilities
• General contractors
• Restoration companies
• Real estate and facility management companies
• Schools, churches, and nonprofit organizations
• Commercial property owners and developers

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new B2B commercial accounts throughout San Diego County.
• Build long-term relationships with property managers, facility managers, general contractors, business owners, and other decision-makers.
• Generate qualified opportunities for ALMCO’s plumbing, sewer, drain, and trenchless divisions.
• Conduct outbound calls, emails, networking, and in-person visits to prospective commercial clients.
• Schedule and attend meetings with prospective clients.
• Present ALMCO’s capabilities and identify opportunities where our services can solve client problems.
• Develop referral partnerships with complementary businesses and industry professionals.
• Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects and existing accounts.
• Attend networking events, trade organizations, property-management events, and industry meetings.
• Maintain accurate records of prospects, contacts, opportunities, and follow-up activities.
• Work closely with operations, sales, marketing, and management to ensure a smooth transition from business development to project execution.
• Help develop commercial service agreements and recurring client relationships.
• Track business-development activity, pipeline, opportunities, and revenue generated.

ALMCO provides a broad range of plumbing and sewer solutions, including:

• Commercial plumbing
• Drain and sewer services
• Sewer camera inspections
• Sewer repair and replacement
• Trenchless sewer replacement
• Epoxy sewer lining
• Pipe rehabilitation
• Hydro jetting and descaling
• Water and gas line services
• Water heaters and related plumbing services

Qualifications

• Previous B2B business development, outside sales, account development, or commercial sales experience.
• Experience in plumbing, construction, restoration, property management, facilities, or another service-based industry is strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to prospect and develop new business relationships.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Comfortable communicating with executives, property managers, facility managers, contractors, and business owners.
• Highly organized with strong follow-up skills.
• Self-motivated and comfortable spending significant time developing relationships outside the office.
• Ability to build a pipeline rather than relying only on incoming leads.
• CRM experience preferred.
• Plumbing or construction industry knowledge is a strong plus.

Compensation

Competitive base salary + performance-based commission/bonus

Compensation will be structured to reward both new account development and revenue generated from B2B relationships.
