Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

• Conduct thorough assessments and document patient information accurately
• Administer medications and perform wound care and splinting
• Manage IVs and collect urine samples and lab draws
• Provide care for patients ranging from ESI 5 through 1
• Ensure quick response to stroke, STEMI, sepsis, and trauma cases

Requirements of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

• Level II or Level III trauma experience
• Current TNCC, ENPC or PALS, ACLS, BLS certifications
• Preferred: CEN or TCRN, CPI certifications
• More than two years of emergency department experience
