Data Center Account Manager

AbouttheRole: AsaCBREDataCenterAccountManager,youwillmanagetheteamresponsibleforprovidingexpertoperations and facilities managementservices to a largetelecomclientat two locations. ThisjobispartoftheCriticalandTechnicalServicesjobfunction.Theyareresponsiblefortechnicalmaintenance services in critical client environments. Please note that you will need to be onsite, as this is a site-based position at the client's location. WhatYou’llDo: Provideformalsupervisionforemployees.Monitorthetraininganddevelopmentofstaff.Conductperformance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coachaccount leadershipas needed. PointofcontactfortheclientwhileworkingwithkeystakeholderstomeetallMSArequirements. Ensurecompletionofconfigurationmanagement,workorders,preventativemaintenance,andrepairswithin the agreed SLAtimeframe.Resolveunforeseencircumstancesthatoccurandinformtheclientorexecutivemanagementwhenneeded. VerifyfacilityinfrastructureequipmentinstallationsarewithintheagreedSLAtimeframe. Confirmalladvanceddeploymentsareinstalledtoapplicableinternal,manufacturer,andindustrystandards. Ensure adherence to Quality, Health, Safety & Environmentalcomplianceand related performance metrics are met. Applyabroadknowledgeofthebusiness,owndiscipline,andhowowndisciplineintegrateswithothersto achieve team and departmentalobjectives. LeadbyexampleandmodelbehaviorsthatareconsistentwithCBRERISEvalues.Influenceotherstoadopta different point of view while being guided by policies and departmental plans. Understandandrecognizethebroaderimpactacrossthedepartment. Improveandchangeexistingmethods,processes,andstandardswithinjobdiscipline. Create and implement strategy for account development, endorsing innovation and improved ways of working. WhatYou’llNeed: Bachelor'sDegreepreferredwith5-8yearsofrelevantexperience.Inlieuofadegree,acombinationof experience and education will be considered. Experienceintheareasofstaffing,selection,training,development,coaching,mentoring,measuring,appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred. Abilitytoleadtheexchangeofsensitive,complicated,anddifficultinformation,conveyperformanceexpectationsand handle problems. Leadershipskillstomotivatetheteamtoachievebroadoperationaltargetswithimpactsonownjobdiscipline, multiple job disciplines, and department.
