Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental and emotional health to establish a holistic understanding of their needs.

• Formulate and implement tailored treatment plans through evidence-based practices, ensuring they align with client goals and needs.

• Provide therapeutic services, including individual and couples therapy, aimed at improving mental well-being and relationship satisfaction.

• Maintain a detailed and organized record of client interactions, including progress notes and treatment modifications, in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and healthcare professionals to enhance clients’ comprehensive care.

• Deliver crisis intervention services when necessary, ensuring clients receive timely support during acute distress.

• Stay abreast of developments in the field, engaging in continuous learning and professional training.

• Advocate for clients' rights and empower them in the treatment process, helping them navigate additional services as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on a diverse clientele, including teens, adults, and couples, each facing unique challenges related to mental health. You will work closely with clients dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and more, helping them to foster resilience and develop coping strategies. Your empathetic approach will be vital in creating trust and rapport, allowing for effective therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Active and unrestricted license as a Marriage and Family Therapist in Pennsylvania.

• Proficient understanding of clinical assessment, treatment planning, and the application of evidence-based therapy techniques.

• Strong organizational skills with a commitment to maintaining accurate, detailed client documentation.
