Incumbents typical work assignments may include the following:

• Serve as the central catalyst for digital transformation and business process re-engineering across the Directorate; design and implement new, unprecedented workflows, analyze emerging technical requirements, and pioneer modern methodologies to resolve recurring operational bottlenecks.
• Serve as the FSD business application Information System Owner (ISO), providing authoritative IT management, strategic guidance, and technical lifecycle oversight across a robust portfolio of enterprise applications (including Maximo, TRIRIGA, Esri ArcGIS, Autodesk, Project Wise, and War Data AI Platforms).
• Lead and oversee complex program administration initiatives, system developments, and large-scale deployments; translate highly complex organizational guidelines into executable project plans that directly resolve critical customer challenges.
• Collaborate actively with Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) and Department of War (DoW) Mission Partners to deliver streamlined, high-performance business process solutions while integrating industry-leading best practices across the Directorate's tech stack.
