Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic educational setting. This contract opportunity runs from ASAP through January, offering the chance to work across two vibrant communities. As part of a dedicated team, you’ll help students access essential communication and language services that shape their academic and social success.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows will be considered
• Previous experience working in school settings is highly valued
• Strong communication skills and collaborative approach
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage a varied caseload

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based diagnostic and therapeutic speech-language services to students
• Develop, implement, and track individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and parents to maximize student outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Consult with teachers and staff to support generalization of language skills in the classroom
• Participate in student-focused meetings and regularly communicate progress

Assignment Details:

• Full-time contract from ASAP through January
• Five days per week, with a split schedule: Three days based in Tunkhannock, two days in Wilkes-Barre, ensuring a diverse professional experience
