Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry setting during night shift hours
• Monitor and interpret EKG readings as part of routine patient assessment
• Utilize electronic medical records to document patient care accurately and efficiently
• Float to alternate campuses within the health system as operationally needed
• Complete unit-based orientation modules as required prior to independent practice

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must successfully pass a compliance EKG exam (up to 2 attempts allowed)
• Third-party education verification required; degrees must be from accredited, verified institutions
• No open background check cases permitted
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility location (non-local policy applies); valid driver's license required to verify address

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry unit
• Familiarity with multi-campus health system environments and float pool expectations
