Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' symptoms and functional levels to identify the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder presentations.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that reflect their unique needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.

• Implement evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to individual client situations.

• Monitor and document client progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to promote sustained recovery.

• Advocate for clients within the healthcare system, ensuring they have access to necessary resources and support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on clients suffering from a range of mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Qualifications\n

• A current and active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license issued by the state of Maryland is required.
