Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing our therapists to work from the comfort of their own homes while maintaining a balanced work-life schedule. Although the role is telemedicine-based, therapists may occasionally participate in in-person meetings or team-building activities at our outpatient office in Huntington Beach. You will interact with your peers via digital platforms, enabling seamless collaboration and sharing of insights regarding client care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough diagnostic assessments to establish precise diagnoses and develop effective treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each client.

• Deliver therapeutic interventions and psychopharmacological management as needed, continuously monitoring client progress and treatment outcomes to have a positive impact on their well-being.

• Offer crisis intervention services, including safety plans, relapse prevention strategies, and referrals to relevant community resources, ensuring clients feel supported at critical times.

• Engage actively with a multidisciplinary clinical team to review and discuss client cases, sharing insights, recommendations, and progress to inform treatment strategies.

• Maintain up-to-date and accurate client records to facilitate informed and effective care delivery.

• Coordinate with families and external organizations to enhance treatment efficacy, providing holistic support to clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT) is required for this role.

• An active and unrestricted license to practice in California, as a Professional Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Clinical Social Worker.

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in mental health therapy.
\n
• Proficiency in diagnosing mental health disorders with a strong evidence-based clinical approach.

• Excellent listening skills coupled with the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

• Experience and knowledge in crisis intervention methodologies and techniques.
\n
• A strong commitment to improving access to mental health care and fostering meaningful client relationships.

Preferred Experience\n

We prefer candidates with experience in a collaborative telehealth setting, comfortable using digital healthcare platforms and tools for client management, therapist-client communications, and documentation. Familiarity with outcome-focused care models and experience in developing evidence-based treatment plans will enhance the contribution of the candidate to our organization’s mission.

Compensation and Benefits\n
