Major Account Manager (Greater Raleigh-Durham, NC)

For our client, we are seeking a Major Account Manager to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space. This role will focus on managing and growing strategic accounts within the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical market. The person in this position will partner closely with customers to understand their operational challenges and uncover opportunities that drive long-term account growth. Success in this role will require strong cross-functional collaboration, consultative selling, and the ability to influence complex customer relationships. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available. Compensation: $100,000 - $120,000 annually. Responsibilities Own and grow a portfolio of strategic pharmaceutical accounts Develop an understanding of customer business objectives and operational challenges Drive account-level growth through strategic opportunity identification Lead cross-functional account execution with internal and external teams Build relationships across multiple customer functions to identify growth opportunities Develop and execute strategic account plans and performance objectives Manage complex customer interactions with professionalism and influence Synthesize sales data to inform strategy and optimize account performance Qualifications College degree or equivalent experience preferred 3+ years of experience in complex sales or pharmaceutical manufacturing Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools B2B sales experience in life sciences or pharmaceutical sectors preferred Strong consultative selling skills with a proven growth track record Excellent communication and team interaction skills Willingness to travel to customer locations 5 days a week Benefits Field-based position with extensive customer interaction Opportunity to work with leading pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical organizations Autonomy in managing time and account complexity Access to a broad portfolio of products and solutions Supportive environment for professional growth and strategic account development Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
