National Account Manager - CPG Major Retail exp. (Confidential / Remote)

We are currently recruiting National Account Managers for a leading privately held consumer products manufacturer seeking to drive growth across major retail and e-commerce partners. This highly visible role will manage and expand key national accounts — with a strong focus on multiple major accounts in Food, Drug Mass & Club channels (ex. Walmart, Target, Sam’s Club, Costco, BJ’s, and marketplace platforms). The ideal candidate is a hands‑on, data‑driven sales professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment and has direct experience developing retailer relationships, executing joint business plans, and managing both in‑store and online channels. Key Responsibilities Manage, grow, and optimize sales with existing national retail accounts. Develop and execute joint business plans with retail buyers to drive category growth and profitability. Leverage omni‑channel best practices to maximize product visibility and sales across in‑store, online, and marketplace platforms. Plan and implement product placement, promotional, and pricing strategies. Use POS and syndicated data tools (Retail Link, Nielsen, IRI, etc.) to analyze performance and identify growth opportunities. Partner cross‑functionally with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Product Development to ensure flawless retail execution. Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail decision‑makers and buyers. Stay current on OTIF/SQEP metrics, modular resets, and promotional planning requirements. Qualifications Minimum 6+ years of experience in managing consumer product sales within CPG Proven success managing major national retailers such as Walmart, Target, Amazon, Costco, Sam’s Club, etc. Strong understanding of category management, promotional execution, and retail scorecards. Experience with Retail Link, Scintilla, Nielsen, IRI, or Circana preferred. Skilled in developing data‑backed insights and storytelling for retail partners. Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and retail reporting tools.
