Admissions Representative

Overview The Admissions Representative is responsible for representing InterCoast College in a positive and professional manner while meeting with new potential students as part of the College's admissions and enrollment process. This position requires excellent verbal and written communication and strong time management skills. An Admissions Representative must be able to build a strong rapport with prospective students, identify potential challenges to student success and assist students in the decision making process to a rewarding career and commitment to overall success. InterCoast expects its employees to maintain a pleasant and professional team-oriented attitude and appearance with students, staff and within the community. The Admissions department is expected to uphold the highest levels of ethical conduct and professionalism at all times. A typical day will consist of 75% outbound phone work and 25% in-person student activity. Compensation Pay and job title are negotiable and are based on the following criteria from submission of resume: level of education, sales experience, education sales experience, employment longevity, management experience, school management experience, and specialized training. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years inside sales and cold calling experience is required. Experience working in Admissions in a post-secondary vocational education institution is preferred. High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree or post-secondary education is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment. Flexible availability. Experience working with Certificate, Diploma, Online and/or AAS Programs is a PLUS. #J-18808-Ljbffr InterCoast Colleges
