Business Development Representative

Overview Develop and maintain relationships with general contractors to promote business opportunities in the construction sector. Focus on contract-based projects involving new building developments and pre-construction phases. Collaborate with internal teams to align business strategies and meet sales targets. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market presence. Provide insights and feedback on market trends to inform strategic decision‐making. Ensure client satisfaction through effective communication and service delivery. Contribute to achieving sales quotas and maximizing bonus potential. Participate in networking events and industry conferences to build professional connections. Key Responsibilities & Duties Engage with general contractors to secure contracts for new building projects. Develop tailored proposals and presentations to address client needs. Monitor and report on sales performance metrics and progress toward quotas. Coordinate with project management teams to ensure seamless execution of contracts. Maintain accurate records of client interactions and contract negotiations. Stay informed about industry developments and competitor activities. Provide regular updates to management on business development activities. Support marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility and attract new clients. Job Requirements Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in a relevant field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development or sales. Preferred 5 years of experience in contract-based sales within the construction industry. Strong understanding of pre-construction and building development processes. Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage with clients effectively. Proven ability to meet sales quotas and achieve bonus targets. Proficiency in CRM tools and sales tracking software.
