Retail Accounting Clerk

Description Robinson Oil is seeking a detail-oriented Retail Accounting Clerk to join our corporate accounting team. Working from our corporate headquarters in Santa Clara, this full-time role serves as a key liaison between our accounting department and retail locations, helping ensure accurate and timely financial reporting of daily store activity. What the Retail Accounting Clerk does Review daily store reports and validate against exception reports Research and resolve credit card retrieval and discrepancy requests Reconcile store accounts and general ledger activity Process accounts payable transactions Prepare reports and proactively review financial data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency Partner with store managers to resolve accounting questions and discrepancies Support month-end closing activities and audit preparation as needed. Requirements 2+ years previous accounting or bookkeeping experience required Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office/Teams; ability to learn new systems quickly Solid data entry and 10-key skills with a high level of accuracy Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Self‑motivated, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities Strong written and verbal communication skills High school diploma required; some college or accounting coursework preferred Who we are Robinson Oil Corporation is a family‑owned company operating 39 "Rotten Robbie" gas stations and convenience stores throughout the greater Bay Area.
