Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or illnesses within a rehabilitation setting.
• Develop, execute, and adjust individualized treatment plans through a combination of therapeutic modalities, such as exercise programs, hands-on therapy, and equipment usage.
• Monitor patient progress by diligently tracking and documenting treatment outcomes, making modifications to care plans as necessary.
• Provide education and training to patients, caregivers, and families regarding therapeutic exercises, assistive devices, and the rehabilitation process.
• Maintain high standards of care by continually updating your professional knowledge through workshops, literature reviews, and networking with peers.
• Offer guidance on the use of assistive devices, ensuring proper fitting and suitability for enhancing patients' self-care and mobility.
• Engage in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress and collaborate on best practices for care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice serves a broad patient demographic, including children and adults experiencing various musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. You will have the opportunity to work closely with patients of all ages, helping them regain strength, mobility, and independence after life-altering traumas or surgeries.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• A valid state license in Physical Therapy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems and basic word processing software.
• A flexible approach to patient care ensuring adaptability to diverse patient needs and settings.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a clinical setting, preferably within rehabilitation or similar environments.
