About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to serve as the operational backbone and strategic partner, overseeing all business aspects and leading a small, dynamic staff. The CEO will be responsible for establishing and executing strategic and annual operating plans, budgets, and metrics, ensuring that business operations align with the professional excellence of the company's artistic and conservation work. This role involves integrating the company with its affiliated entities, maintaining legal and operational boundaries, and leading the organizational and staff coherence. The ideal candidate will have a deep connection to the company's mission, at least 10 years of experience in team leadership, and a proven track record in for-profit business management and development. Familiarity with nonprofit organizations, philanthropic funding, or hybrid models is a strong plus. The successful CEO will also be instrumental in the growth of the company's earned revenue and scalable commercial ventures, while preserving the integrity of mission-restricted funds. They will provide leadership for the company's Connected Planet project, a global initiative in collaboration with a well-known conservation organization, and will be expected to manage key partner relationships. The role requires a leader with strong strategic thinking, hands-on operational leadership, and the ability to operate in dynamic environments. The candidate should be an experienced and entrepreneurial leader, capable of bringing clarity and structure to a creative, mission-driven organization, and must possess solid business and financial acumen, as well as excellent communication skills.
