Pay & Benefits:

What You'll Do:

• Provide urgent care services to a diverse outpatient patient population (birth to death)
• Perform procedures including suturing, I&D, foreign body removal, and burn management
• Manage minor orthopedic procedures such as splinting and casting
• Conduct point-of-care testing including rapid strep, flu, COVID-19, and urinalysis
• Interpret X-rays and EKGs to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning
• Stabilize airway and manage acute episodes using nebulizer treatments and emergency protocols
• Document findings accurately in Epic EMR system
• Coordinate care for episodic higher acuity cases to appropriate facilities

What You Need:

• Valid Virginia Physician Assistant license and national certification
• At least 1-2 years of outpatient or urgent care experience preferred
• Excellent procedural skills and the ability to handle diverse patient cases
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
