Key Responsibilities\n

As an LMFT at Psychiatry Wellness Center, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing individualized treatment plans for couples and families.
\n
• Providing therapy sessions to couples together, as well as offering individual sessions to each partner.
\n
• Addressing a range of complex issues, including but not limited to conflicts among family members, grief and loss, job stress, and adjustment challenges related to separation and divorce.
\n
• Facilitating communication processes within families and enhancing their dynamic to promote healthier interactions.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to the unique needs of your clients.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment plans according to regulatory standards.
\n
• Participating in regular clinical supervision and team meetings to ensure continuous professional development and case coordination.
\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on working with diverse family units, including couples, children, and adolescents. You will encounter a variety of presenting issues such as alcohol abuse, physical and psychological abuse, blended family dynamics, and mother/daughter conflicts. By specializing in the entire family system, you will contribute significantly to resolving these complex issues and enhancing overall family functioning.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

• A valid and active Massachusetts state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

• Demonstrated experience in providing therapy to couples and families.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with the following experience will be given preference:

• Experience in teletherapy and familiarity with the tools used to deliver remote counseling.
