The primary objectives of the Supply Planner are to ensure achievement of the below key metrics for inventory maintained at ADC (America Distribution Center)Service level (fill-rate) – both to external retailers + DTC channelsInventory optimization/coverage (days of coverage)Visibility to and disposition of Excess & Obsolete inventoryIn addition, the candidate is expected to work closely with the Demand Planning and collaborate with international affiliates and domestic teams.The ideal candidate has a problem-solving attitude to help understand root-cause issues and find proactive solutions. The candidate should have demonstrated an understanding of supply planning business processes and of the statistics-based stock policies, to facilitate the best use of networking capital (inventory, storage cost, logistics costs).WHAT YOU WILL DO:Allocating InventoryYou will review IBP allocation and adjust where necessary based on stock availability, market freshness requirements, and active versions.You will collaborate closely with the web team to ensure stock availability, provide recommendations on required inventory level, run analysis, investigate out-of-stock root-cause and find proactive solutions for future demand.You will help coordinate drop shipments.You will collaborate with the US sales team for domestic stock allocationControlling optimal inventory levelYou will utilize inventory management systems to track and analyze stock levels.You will review below target KPIs (fill rate and inventory coverage) and find problem-solving initiatives.You will assess short-term changes in forecast and advise on inventory availability.You will review low inventory list and advise on item priorities with multiple teams (e.g.: production, quality, assembly, warehouse, transportation).You will validate projected inventory to minimize excess stock and obsolete productsYou will provide a list of excess stock and obsolete products and follow up with teams on key actions to reduce liabilities.You will communicate out of stock reports and risk of shortage.You will execute quality release in systems.You will produce and share report of open orders.Maintaining S&OP parametersYou will calculate and update regularly safety stock & safety timeYou will gather information on item version switch, run analysis to estimate actual switch date and provide visibility on ATS (available to ship) dates.You will update product status and discontinuation dateWHO YOU ARE:You have a college degree in relevant field or related job experience (including internship and co-ops)You have intermediate to advanced Excel skills (e.g.: xlookup, pivot table, sumif, subtotal, conditional formatting, power query).You have 0-2 years of planning experience in a supply chain role, ideally in a manufacturing or supplier environment in consumer goods industry.APICS ASCM CPIM or CSCP certification is a plus.Lean Six-Sigma certification is a plus.Experience with an ERP system is a plus.SAP experience is a plus.You can understand the end-to-end supply chain functions and linkage.You can manage priorities and understand what is most important.You can collaborate cross-functionally.#NYLaw #LI-HybridIf this sounds like you, we want you on our team. Actual base pay offered will be based on several factors including job-specific knowledge, education, skills, and depth of experience.
