Utility Billing Support Specialist

Providing essential support to local government clients, the full-time remote Utility Billing Support Specialist will assist with accounting and utility billing software inquiries, ensuring quick resolutions and high customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities Analyze and resolve client issues related to accounting and utility billing software via email and phone communication Lead client conversations about ERP solutions and strive for one-call resolution on support tickets Maintain accurate ticketing records and follow up with clients to ensure their needs are met Required qualifications Experience or education in customer support, particularly for tech products Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Familiarity with email ticketing systems such as Zendesk or Freshdesk is a plus Knowledge of local government accounting functions like accounts payable/receivable and financial reporting is advantageous Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage a fast-paced work environment
