Masuda Movement Rehab & Wellness Center is a leading rehabilitation facility specializing in orthopedic care. We are committed to providing exceptional treatment in our state-of-the-art 5,000 square foot clinical space dedicated to sports medicine and rehabilitation. Our dedicated team consists of two experienced physical therapists and one Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), all focused on delivering innovative and effective therapy solutions. Our practice primarily caters to patients with private medical insurance, allowing us to focus on individualized care rather than volume.

Work Environment

You will work onsite in our fully equipped rehabilitation center, where a collaborative and team-oriented atmosphere drives patient success. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic while still providing ample time to engage with patients meaningfully. Frequent team meetings and case discussions help foster a supportive environment where patient care and professional development are prioritized.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to assess individual needs and develop customized treatment programs.
• Manage a patient load of one patient per hour, ensuring quality care and attention.
• Implement a variety of treatment techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises, to enhance mobility and function.
• Monitor patient progress closely, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions and progress within electronic medical records (EMR) platforms like WebPT.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and specialists, to ensure integrated and effective care.
• Educate patients on rehabilitation protocols and lifestyle modifications that promote healing and prevent future injuries.
• Motivate and inspire patients throughout their therapy journey, focusing on their physical and emotional well-being.
• Conduct regular assessments to determine patient outcomes and satisfaction with the rehab programs.
• Promote wellness initiatives aimed at improving strength, flexibility, balance, and overall physical health for all clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographic primarily consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders. Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Active compliance with state licensing requirements as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
• Clean and unblemished professional record, with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Solid foundation in manual therapy skills, with a proven ability to adapt techniques based on patient needs.
• Strong capability in developing individualized exercise regimens that promote recovery and health maintenance.
• Familiarity with EMR software, particularly WebPT, to enhance documentation and streamline patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Knowledge of contemporary treatment modalities and advancements in physical rehabilitation.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, fostering positive patient relationships.
• Experience with patient education, especially regarding rehabilitation techniques and preventative care.

Compensation and Benefits
