Work Environment

As an onsite facility, the Physio Recovery Center fosters a collaborative and supportive work atmosphere, where our small team consists of two experienced physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA). Each member of our team is committed to providing the highest level of care and promoting best practices within the rehabilitation field. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured yet engaging work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop individualized care plans based on comprehensive patient assessments, incorporating a variety of treatment techniques.
• Guide 2-3 patients per hour through tailored therapeutic interventions designed to enhance mobility and reduce pain.
• Utilize effective manual therapy techniques and exercise protocols, adapting them to meet each patient's specific goals.
• Monitor patient progress, evaluate treatment effectiveness, and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Document all patient encounters and treatment provided using EMR software, such as WebPT.
• Engage in interdisciplinary consultations to coordinate care with other health professionals.
• Encourage patients to adopt healthy lifestyle choices that support rehabilitation and functional independence.
• Promote wellness and injury prevention through education and community outreach.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will work with a diverse demographic, tailoring your interventions to meet varying needs and abilities. Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Active Virginia Physical Therapist License with no board or disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy and therapeutic exercise techniques.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred.
• Background in developing fitness and wellness programs is an asset.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and health team members.

Compensation and Benefits
